What's Coming Up at the Farm . . .

I know you received a longish email from us a few days ago … we were so excited to let you know the launching of our Flower Club that I wanted to announce it in its own space.
However, we have other fun and “break up the dreary winter” activities coming up.
The Art of Tataki-Zomé (Flower Pounding) Workshop

Scheduled the weekend before Valentine’s Day, this would make a perfect date to celebrate and create an everlasting memento of love.
Tataki-Zomé, a floral art form practiced in Japan, is the process of transferring a flower’s shape and dye onto paper or cloth by pounding on its petals and leaves. It is a form of eco-dyeing/eco-printing where direct contact is used to draw out pigments from plants. The results are often pleasantly surprising as the color you were expecting from your flowers are not what transfers onto your canvas.
Spring Flower Bouquet Subscription

Can you feel it? …. Spring is just around the corner!
The days are longer and the sun is stronger.
Signs of life is all around us. I see my early bulbs popping up everywhere (can’t wait to see the fancy daffodils) and my overwintering flowers steadfastly growing away.
And, for me, the arrival of flowers is the sure sign of spring and renewal, especially as a seasonal flower farmer.
Celebrate this long-awaited season with our Spring Bouquet Subscription. (BTW, this makes a wonderful Valentine’s Day gift and you can pat yourself on the back by having supported the local and seasonal flower movement! Not only that, our subscription is equal to, if not lower, than the cost of one pricey floral bouquet from the florist, and you get 3x as many flowers!).
For gift purchases, let us know, and we will email you a beautiful pdf gift card to give to your loved one.
Chocolates and a Spring Bouquet Subscription makes a perfect Valentine’s Day combo!
