Hi flower friends,

Spring is in full swing, and things are buzzing (literally and figuratively) on the farm! We’re soaking up the sunshine, elbow-deep in soil, and getting everything planted and prepped for a beautiful season ahead.

Let’s start with some of the new perennial additions we’ve tucked into the beds:
This spring we planted columbine, ornamental grasses, tall phlox, and Japanese anemones—long-lasting beauties that will return year after year to bring structure and charm to the garden.

And it’s not just the new kids showing off—our iris, which we planted last fall, are gearing up to bloom just in time for Mother's Day, and our overwintered dahlias are sprouting like champs. It’s such a joy to see them waking up.

We’ve also been busy getting our annuals in the ground. The first round of zinnias and sunflowers is officially planted with dill and china asters soon following. We’re also moving on to the second round of lemony and cinnamon basil, celosia (for that velvety texture we all love), plus annual baby’s breath for a touch of airy elegance in our bouquets.

It’s not just about flowers though—our vegetable garden is getting some love too! We’re planting out eggplants, peppers, tomatoes, melons, and sweet corn. Meanwhile, seeds are being sowed for cucumbers, green beans, and summer squash. It won’t be long before we're harvesting sun-warmed veggies alongside armfuls of blooms.

Around the farm, signs of spring are bursting everywhere.

Our cherry trees are blooming away like white confetti, and the lunaria (aka money plant) we sowed last fall is flowering which will soon turn into sweet little silvery coins.

And in perfect timing for Mother's Day, the peonies are all budded up and looking plump, and the roses are just about to burst open along with our iris. It’s going to be stunning

Mother’s Day Is Almost Here!

It’s one of the biggest flower days of the year, and as always, our little farm has a limited supply of blooms. If you’re dreaming of a bouquet full of lush peonies, fragrant roses, fresh-cut anemones, and other premium spring flowers, preordering is the best way to guarantee a spot. Our preorders close on May 8, so don’t wait!
